I have seen truckers cooking with hot plates, crock pots etc. I plan to try to cook some of my meals when I get out there. My question is where do you wash these pots and pans

I wash then in the sink with dish soap and towels

I keep a six gallon water jug on the floor in front of the passenger seat. When it's time to clean up, I go around to the passenger door and pull the jug out so the spigot hangs out the door.
Dish water gets sloshed onto the pavement, thereby doing my part to keep the parking lot fresh and clean.

I just put them in the dishwasher

You have a dishwasher in your truck ???? LOL

If you have one of those 10' sleepers you need "stuff" to put in it to go along with the stand up shower, the potty, and the 48" wide screen. Not to mention the 50 gal pressurized water tank on the back. That way you are set up for when you wait 5 days for a load.
T-RIX Thanks this. -
I used a gallon jug to wash. I don't dare use the bathrooms sinks like some do. That's germ central. Some truckstops have a sink by the coffee makers. I'd trust that one before the bathroom.
But you would be amazed what you can do with a half gallon and some dawn. -
Liners for the crockpot...plastic utensils, paper plates, plastic cups, and Styrofoam bowls...no washing necessary!
Frenzy Thanks this. -
I don't mean to be insensitive, but, if you can't figure out how to wash a dish, how do you get a load down the road?

Not all are Susie Homemaker, lol.
