Oh I definatly am. They were second on my list. If I wouldn't been excepted by TMC I would def. be going th Mavrick. They seem like they are run really well. About the only thing I didn't like about them was that they have auto trucks. With me lust getting out of school, I wanted my first job to be with a standard transmission. Didn't wanna forget how to shift right away. But if for some stupid reason it doesn't work out. They will be the first ones I call.

good choice. i think auto trucks are ruining drivers career paths. if you lose a job and drove auto for 3 yrs you will be very iffy on the manual trans and will probably will have to go get a refresher class done.

At first I thought that auto would be nice, but after I talked to a couple of people they sorta warned me about them. Said kinda the same thing...don't start on them. You will be very rusty trying to go back.

auto's make the driver even lazier than we already are.
NukedNative Thanks this. -

Awesome!
Passed my CDL yesterday, sticking around the yard finishing up some brushup stuff (drop and hook, playing on the alley dock, etc.....), and still have to decide whether I want to go to Iowa on the 6th or the 13th.
Boy, I'm pretty freakin excited! HUGE career change from corporate he77, but I think I'll like it.
hmmmm......... 6th or 13th......... hmm... decisions.... -
Welcome aboard to all of you new recruits, glad to have you at TMC.

A friend of mine has an auto in his truck. He hates it because the computer does not know what gear is right for the load and terrain and its hard to force it to accept the gear the driver wants. With a handshaker there are no issues like this.
