I use to live in the Corning, NY area for 10 years. I have drove by there many times!!!

Amazing how much better Rt15/I-99 has gotten. Give it a few more year any you may be able to run 4 lane all the way to Williamsport, PA

Not sure when the last time you were up here, but it is 4 lanes to Williamsport. The only part not 4 lanes yet is about a 10 mile stretch from the NY line on north towards Painted Post....but they're working on it.

Hmmmm, maybe I am thinking between Williamsport and getting on I-81. It is a lot better road then what it use to be. I have never liked Trout Run, and still don't like it!!

Been home since Friday taking a few days off. Heading back out tomorrow morn(Tues) to hopefully rack up some miles. Gonna take the wife out with me for about a week or so. Hopefully dispatcher can run me through Trenton to drop her off.

I definitely needed a few days off but #### it hurts the wallet. Though I try to relax I find myself thinking "man I gotta get back out there".

Looking to possibly move to NC. Right now checking out the Mount Airy area. Though I despise moving I'm looking forward to a new start in a new area.

Yeah, one of the drawbacks of driving. If the wheels ain't turning you ain't earning.

I guess I look at it this way. I don't get paid being off on the weekends so I reckon it all works out the same.

But I know what you mean about hurting the wallet :biggrin_2553:

I hear ya been there myself thinking about rolling when should be enjoying my time home. Good luck on finding a place you'll be happy with. I know you'll enjoy the time out with your wife. In a couple weeks ill go home and bring my son out with me for 2 weeks, kinda excited about that. Only thing I noticed was the week after I brought daughter home I kinda missed my co-pilot.

Haha, nah you don't have to watch your "lingo". She's got a great sense of humor. She appears to be holding up pretty well but getting bored about half way through the day. She has taken like 200 pictures so far, she's loving the scenery and seeing "Americana" in the different areas. Most of all I think she just enjoys being with me since we spend so little time together over all. I'm certainly enjoying having her by my side going down the road.

Right now spending the night at the Albany terminal. Dropped this morn in Douglas, GA at the Walmart DC. Came to Albany to grab a load going to Milwaukee. Will be heading out early in the morn.
