So does any one know , if the the coaxl on Cascadia are tied into into the in dash satalite radio? and if so which antanna, is used for the sat radio, , which is used for the cb. Been having trouble with both. CB, people can barely hear me,(yes it was peaked turned recently, but before i moved into this truck) and the sat radio, loses signal wheni'm headed in a northly direction, or have trees on the right side.

As long as you are running the factory coax, you are not going to receive or xmit much more that one mile. It's junk and the only cure is a dedicated coax to a good antenna, not the cb,fm,am, weather band, sat combo antennas than come on the Cascadia.

CORRECT ......
I don't know how they think it is going to work but any multiband antenna
is as best a dummy load ..... -
Not only that but the coax goes through 8 junction boxes per side. That is a loss of a couple db at every junction! They lowered the junction boxes to four per side on our newer 2010s and it improved some. Still sucks though.

The Satellite antenna on my 2009 Cascadia is not tied to the CB Coax, it runs through the Dashboard, and a word of warning on these cheap trucks, my satellite antenna was shorting against the fuse/SAM panel and caught fire (No Joke) when we got the truck, so if you have a Cascadia pull the glove compartment and check the antenna wire (it has a yellow connector there) and make sure its not shorting out

Ours don't have the satellite ant. feature. I just threw that in there because they might as well have, they got everything else!
