Well we got enough rain out of that so called storm to make the pavement look wet and then it dried up.

Been very dry right here. Had some rain come through on Sunday, but we only got about .3" out of it. The radar looked like the Peoria area got rain this morning, but none here. The crops here still look ok, but this constant heat has got to be hurting the corn at some point.

We are going to turn the bin fans on and store up some hot air to have this winter.:biggrin_2559:

Keep us posted on how that works out for ya:biggrin_2559:

We have been in the mid to upper 90's for a couple of weeks here too,but that probably sounds like a nice cold-front to Wheathauler and Big John. Hope you folks get some rain this weekend, but from what my cousin that runs a step-deck through Kansas,Ok. and Texas said the other day,it might be a tad late for the corn.

Been fairly busy hauling wheat from some farms and DDG to a couple of dairies, with a bean-meal load scattered here and there.

Everyone have a good weekend, and i hope ya'll get some rain out there fellers.

    Big John Thanks this.

Well it didn't last long maybe 15 minutes. Already dried up, humid and nasty outside. :biggrin_2553:

Well yesterday we got an 1" of rain in a very short mount of time and then it was gone. Today it is 109 degrees and I went to get my truck to drive it an hour south of me to put in in the shop and my A/C quit ten minutes down the road. I just got done replacing everything a few weeks ago that you can replace and I lost all the cold air.

Bad news. I wouldn't even drive without my A/C working it's just too hot. It's 104 here supposed to be up around 110 tomorrow, I may quit early tomorrow.

That sucks. The a/c has never worked in my pickup. We went to the river this weekend and I got a worse sunburn driving back than I did the whole day on the river.
