In Sioux City waiting to see if they'll have me drop this trailer somewhere or leave me under it all weekend. Had a blown drive tire yesterday make me late, consignee doesn't receive over the weekend. I'd really like to ditch this truck- it's been letting me down too often lately. Besides, I'm getting tired of not having a CD player, and I'm disappointing a lot of kids since the air horn doesn't work either. I keep waiting for that message saying I'll get a different truck, but it hasn't come yet.

Still here in Sparks, where being told that there is no freight now. Send Mac 30, and instead of the msg, no loads to offer, receive a msg, that I already have a pending loads offered msg. Have not received anything.

Hey, Squeak...go inside and see if Steve-O is there. If he is, tell him I said hi. While you're talking to him, ask how freight is looking.

Not at the terminal. Becky in PHX was telling me that the freight is nill. What irks me, company truck in Fontana gets ld to Denver for Sunday, and I get a short one to Sparks. What happened to we have some priority. Two weeks of short CA and NV loads, 1500 miles for this weeks pay, with 2 days in PHX. I am wondering if when the planners even pull up my truck, it says L/O, especially since the new company trucks that I am seeing out here are also starting with the number 120.

I thought you were getting on that Walmart deal? That's what I've been doing for over a month and I've been doing quite well. Last week was short because I had an extra day off, 2100 miles, but still ended up with a $900 check.

I'm thinking I'll take the dedicated deal if it's offered to me. Hauling Wally-wagons is paying off. Literally.

    Rattlebunny Thanks this.

I was until just b4 it started received a msg, avg week will be 2100 mls, when I was first told 2500-2800. Could not afford 2100 miles/wk, and mostly east coast. Pencil to paper, and after expenses, came out making abt .26/mi. Also, it was 3 weeks out before home time. Once in awhile a possible 34 during the week.

I take a 34 at home every week, pull an average 2,500 miles for an average check of $1,100 and get more rest than I could OTR. I didn't think I was going to like it. My break-even point is lower, too.

Near yellowstone park for the day. Am headed east towards home!
I spent a couple of days driving through Oregon. Man, there are so many scenic roads! I gotta bring the cycle out here sometime and explore.
