As i didnt read all post on this, but if not mentioned, you can tell him that with the grocery list of problems, if pulled over by dot, they can shut you down until repair have been made, and like one post said, it's on your licence, you are the driver and you are responcable for the operation of the vehice

Don't drive it, for all the reasons above. But especially with brake problems. If you have an accident, especially one with injuries or death YOU will be facing prison time. You have a CDL and it is YOUR responsibility to pretrip your truck and refuse to drive it with life threatening problems.

Tell your boss you can keep all of your appointments! All he has to do is rent a large flat bed truck and trailer to haul around his truck everyplace he needs it to go! Or, FIX IT!

Glad you stood up and said no. No point in hurting yourself. license, or others in a accident.

Good for you. If the guy is going to be in the business, he better get use to doing things right. The reason we have all these laws are from people like him.

I would not drive a vehicle that I knew the brakes were bad. Brakes and hubs are usually not that expensive. In any case, it is less expensive than having an accident where someone could be injured or killed.

That's what a pro would do. Recognize that YOU have a responsibility to yourself and the public to drive a safe truck in a safe manner. Sometimes it might cost you a job but in the long run you will be a better driver for it. Been there done that a couple of times.
