thanks kittyfoot. I know. Most of us are a very independent breed who resent goverment intrusion in excess, where freedom is pretty much one of the most important thing in our lives, but I'm going to hang in their and give it my best shot as long as I can. The best to everyone in their endeavors.

there is one answer to that ...park in a chicken coupe and let them decide for you :)

And i would be turning that dispatcher in anyhow . That's not their job to even consider asking a driver to drive with out hours and the above repsonse is what mine got asking me that once when i was just 10 miles from a shipper and ran out of hours ...oh well its what you do to protect your own butt nobody else is going to.

What the dispatcher is doing is not right.

However, if you are vindictive enough to involve the DOT, I'll be pleased when you can no longer find a driving job.

Surely as professional drivers and adults, we can work out an equitable solution.
