Orangeburg,SC wondering how the planners expect me to pick up a load by midnight when my pta is 4AM. Now had they planned ahead and gave me the load sooner my 14 would not have been almost up and could have ran the 20 miles to pu and 20 miles back to Pilot.

Was in CO a couple nights last week, sure is nice right? Stopped both times at that Eagle Truck Stop just east of Grand Junction and it was in the 50's when I woke up.

Wendover, NV. Was going to go further today, but after waiting 4 hours from PTA to dispatch, just tired, plus the truck decided that it wanted to go to a casino. Started with $20 on the $1 slot, walked out with $400. Was sent a pplan this morning back to CA, and flat refused, and then lo and behold, a load to Cheyenne for Monday.

Isn't the air horn a safety issue ... seems like they should fix that. As in the airlines, a CD player is probably considered a convenience item, but check anyway you might get something better? Maybe?:biggrin_25519:

Once you get all the problems fixed with the truck, I'd keep it. At least you know the issues are fixed IMO.

As long as one horn works (which the city horn does) thats all that's required by DOT. I don't go into the shop unless it's urgent or safety related. Personal policy- it's just such a waste of time to put the truck in a shop, especially since it should be retired soon. Why waste 3,4,5,or more days sitting around when any day I could get the message to get a different truck?

I was merely indulging in a little good natured whining.:biggrin_25523:

It's been a while for me, and my city horn was just pitiful. I completely agree with shops work. Didn't know how old yer truck was.

Whining with a point is only Venting. :yes2557: You had a good point. :biggrin_25519:

Phoenix still. Truck hasn't seen the inside of the shop yet. I am guessing I will get another truck Monday. Sigh. Funny thing is I for a message Friday sayingy truck was still on shop status and if it was fixed I should get it off shop status. DUH! I shot one back stating it is still in line to be fixed and will likely still be in line Monday when I come back from the motel.
