I am not planning to do anything about those number as i am Not owner of the company... As i already said that i am owner operator and just working For the company... About the pay, all i can give you is the range 32-44 it is totally depends on exp and mostly on how well you do... All peaple have diferrent qualifications and performance. And seriously, if you needed the job you would call, and not #### chat.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

The forum sometimes censors words that nobody understands why and lets some through that it maybe shouldn't. -
It appears you have been given someone else's task. I apologize for hammering on you. It is mentality and statements like this, "if you needed the job you would call", that anger me. They suggest that if you are desperate you don't care about the details or what it pays. There are not even any qualifications listed on this ad.
I have owned two trucks over the years and I am not one of those desperate drivers. I have deadheaded from NJ to MO because I won't haul freight for fuel and a few expenses. I can go broke setting at the house and not make someone else money while I do it.
By the same token I won't call on job ads that fail to give complete details. Job ads, especially free ones, should contain all the details. The purpose of a properly written ad of any kind is to convey all details and elicit responses from those interested in the product, service or job. So, in a sense a properly written ad will screen your perspective employees so you don't have everyone calling. I imagine if you are desperate you need all those calls to catch a few good leads.
You say you don't know about the FMCSA scores. With all due respect I doubt you could avoid knowing something is up when you hit the scales. As an owner/operator you need to educate yourself for your own protection. The scores suggest poor management, arrogance toward the regulations, drivers being run past their HOS, poor equipment maintenance, drug use and many accidents with too many injuries/fatalities. The company has had two reviews this year.
If everybody there doesn't know what is going on and what is expected of them to turn this around then this company won't be operating much longer. Good luck. -
"if you needed the job you would call" - no body talking about being desperate, if you are looking for a job you would take time and call... Like i said i do not represent a big company and i do take time to get my drivers personally and base their pay on his/her qualifications, results, etc... I do appritiate that you trying to explain how the proper adv is done, but really no offense, if you don't like the ad just ignore it and don't waist anybody time. I am not trying to teach you how you should you conduct your business... I won't even start talking about taking cheap loads...
This thread is for job opportunity not a marketing 101...

Spaceagle, Once again, and quit sidestepping the question. WHAT DO YOU PAY? Don't give us that crap about "have to see how he does". NO driver that's worth having would agree to audition for you and then let you decide what to pay him! Please. There is probably duct tape on your trucks, and you are probably pulling beat-up 30 year old trailers. You say pay range is .32-.44? Well, if I was running hard and delivering on time, good paperwork, clean truck, etc., then I would demand .44 cents. Why would I be worth less than anyone else? I'll tell you why. You have to bribe drivers to run illegal loads for you. The drivers who won't do it get just the .32 cents. And then you cut their loads till they quit. If that's not true, then POST THE PAY! What are you hiding? The way your ad is written, it's highly insulting and irritating to professional drivers who have been around. If I offended you with the "duct tape and beat-up trls." comment I can only say that I assume you are pulling that companies trailers, and pulling their freight. You can't run illegal without them knowing it with their trailers. Most failed inspections are on trailers in my experience. I can't see how their CSA scores don't hurt you also.

Well, I took a job with King's Way Express and it's actually been fine. My truck is a 2002 Volvo; a little bit old, but not bad. It's powerful as hell and it will pass inspections. I am pulling a leased 2010 trailer that is flawless. I have as many miles as I can handle, going anywhere in the country. It's no big deal to get loads from Houston to Albany,NY or Cleveland to Tucson, you never know. No drop and hook, I just pull my trailer, which is actually OK because I know it's in great shape. It's only been a month, but have not been pulled in for inspection yet. No Quallcomm or E-Logs either. No health insurance, though.

I don't know how those FMSCA scores got so bad, all I can do is take care of my own business.
