What's up all?! I am new on here and I just got back from submitting hair follicles for the drug test. If all goes well, I should start orientation on 8/3/11 at the Fontana OC. Socalchuckster, any advice or tips you can give as to what to expect? I been reading a lot of posts on here and have noticed that you are in a lot of them. I have researched as much as I could about SNI and even though there were some negative comments about SNI, I'm confident that opting to go with SNI is a good choice.

anyone run the regional in New England?
got a call from them today to see if wanted to join the "club"...
if I am able to at least get home once or twice month would be better than now, think the shortest time I have ever been out is 6 weeks but it is OTR-48states... -
Are you serious!!?? woow I have spoke to a recruiter about otr and they said I would be home for 2 days avery 2 weeks. Do you choose to stay out that long or try to get home more often? I will not/ can not stay out 3-4 weeks at a time on a regular basis. And if you dont mind telling what is average earnings 7 days. Thanks for any info.

Well I live in Maine so the company I am with does not have alot freight going that direction. It always becomes a week long hassle to just get close to home (just as much getting backout) . When I run solo I average 3200 miles, when running teams my average is 5300 miles.
I will gladly give up miles to be home more consistently. -
I will be running the NE regional with SNI. I am currently going out with my trainer. The way I was told, your home time on the regional will depend on where you live. If you live near a lane with a lot of freight, you will get home more often than if you live where there is not a lot of freight.
I was told by my trainer that where I live I should not be gone more than 6 or 7 days without some home time in most cases, but it can vary. -
Does SNI let you take the truck home? I live in Milwaukee,WI and if I go with SNI their up in Green Bay thats 100miles away. I wouldn't like to be driving for 2 weeks then have to drive you personal car home 100+ miles then another 100+ back to the terminal?

They let me take my truck home and I only live 64 miles from the Atlanta, GA terminal. So I think you should be able to, I believe that their radius is 50 miles.MilwaukeeTrucker Thanks this.

Screw taking that truck home, unless you really want to. There was a yard in Sturdevant Wi, just down the road from you.
-
How long will it take to get a wl-mart dedicated account and what is the home time for this account? thanks!!

Walmart has many different schedules
5/2, 6/2, 14/7 or 11 days on and then 3 days off. All the sites are slip seat so u will have a different truck each week. Most newbys get on the 5/2 for the first six months
