I think he just needed to vent out; as a true driver would never think his better then the next driver; regardless of how many "miles" his done.
As some drivers just do local work, so they may only do say 300miles a day; but still take home the same cash as you doing 600miles a day..

Key word = May; so depending on how they get paid, maybe per hour, or per job.

 

Yea the local guys might do less then 300 miles but they also get bonus pay and drop pay after 6 months most average 4,800-5,400 a month take home after taxes and insurance.

 

yea, but I couldn't afford that kind of pay cut. Guess I'll have to stay OTR.

No thats each week plus you get 2 weeks paid vacation and they also give you two round trip tickets any were United Airlines flys each year. They really know how to treat there employees.

I was with Stevens for many year and I retired from there to stay at home. My husband on the other hand has been at Stevens for over 10 years . But he decided to see if the grass was greener else where. Is on his way back there, The Grass was NOT greener else where it SUCKED Royal.
