Johnstown,PA Got a really cool spot in the back corner of this mall that some of the daycab drivers at Pepsi told me about. Even a few dropped trailers back here. Good thing too cause closest truck stop is at least 35-40 miles away and I don't know what direction I'm going next. Time to go shopping.

Moapa NV. Got the truck this morning. Got a load to Vegas. 90 miles out of Phoenix and the engine light comes on. Going through Vegas and the throttle goes bad. Just like before I turned it into the shop. All they did was clear the codes and do a parked regen. 4 days down for nothing. Calling my DM tomorrow to get a load to a terminal that has trucks and I am swapping out. Also going to put in a comment to the Phoenix shop.

Squeak: Don't forget about IFTA when fueling in Oregon. Also, a lot of little mom n pop truck stops accept ComData and their fuel is often less expensive than major name truck stops. Keep your eyes open for them and it can save you a bundle.

    http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/swift/140373-ifta-and-lease-operators.html

Washington's fuel tax is 37 cpg. I'm seeing fuel get sold for $4.02 at certain no-names. 4.02- .37 = 3.65. Same price, but you're paying tax. Just sayin.

It's a trap ... You want to avoid fueling in Oregon. There is no IFTA in that fuel price, so no IFTA credit. Even worse, it's costing you $.13 a mie to drive through Oregon. Their tax rate is actually $.16 per mile but Swift is subsidizing $.03.

Oregon is pretty country, but I try to avoid the place.

New Lisbon, IN. Deliver tomorrow night on PA.

Here in a no name t/s in Marysville, WA. Filling up in the morning, $4.01/gal, then ld in Everett, and t-call in Lathrop. Had my choice, t-call lathrop or sparks. Planner says better freight in Lathrop, plus it would been a heck of a long drive down 395 to Sparks.
