Well, the tractor was originally red. I suppose with the oxidation it might be a dark shade of pink. I really dont want to trade it in right now...It is running fine.:biggrin_25519:

I have pulled a flat bed before the deciding factor are the freight rates. Besides im getting tired of grocery warehouses plus it will give a little exercise.

Well last post and im off to bed. Just finished up about an hour ago at the speed co had a flat on one of the drives and they couldn't patch it. So new tire at 614.00 between the exhaust hanger coming apart and breaking the clamp at the manifold. The 2 day repair total is now at 888.00 hope that will be it for awhile. Jj.

Well I vote for Lavendar or some other Tink friendly pastelly color.

If you do make it to the south (alabama area) there is a guy whom can mod a detroit in 30 minutes and you will have lots a power and 6.5 mpg (so he claimed).

I am now driving a prostar and was chooled about the cummins isx lift pump. sat for 3 hours just to have the shop mechanic unplug a fuse, plug it in and presto chango truck runs. kinda cool it was easy, kinda sucked I didnt know how sooner (like 3 hours sooner).

So far in my career of 2.5 months I have driven 4 Volvos, 1 T660, 1 Freightliner ('05 cascadia I think) and now a ProStar all with no power ISX (swift makes them enuchs) and I like the ProStar the best.

Really want to get my own truck just to make sure its not neutered, not smoked in and can have an APU or invertor without someone itchin about it. I will even take the whole goverened speed thing as long as I can go throught cabbage at the goverend speed. :biggrin_25519:

In my career at Central I had 2 volvo's (87612 caught fire and burned in the shop in Henderson, just found out 99660 which was my last volvo there is also a wreck now thanks to a driver rolling it over) 1 international POS, and a Kenworthless W9 loaner.

At Werner I drove a Pete 387 (meh), a Prostar (decent), Freightshaker Century Class (THIS TRUCK ROCKED!!!!) and a POS peterbucket 379 (when I say POS, just drove it from DC to terminal so they could get rid of it it had so much wrong even the peterbucket logo fell off)

Now with Specialized I drive a Volvo again, not bad but doesn't pull well.
