Your not a O/O or lease driver if you have to stop where they tell you and follow there routing! Fool if you lease on a contract like that what a joke....and 4800 miles for a trainer/team...hahahaha. I can turn 4200 solo and legally doing it with one loose leaf log book. And that's running 68 mph while getting 7.0 mpg. Surcharge loaded and empty

Ok first I believe I had said my worst week was 4800. Second since CRE uses e-logs then doing what you said for solo is not possible at CRE. For the one that said he seen someone with 5000+ and still be negative, yeah they also probably did not turn in trips one week and doubled them the next but then CRE takes out all the stuff for all the trips plus the 2 weeks worth of truck leasing stuff which by itself will be almost $1500 or more. For the one about the rollover...the driver died so leave that one alone...

OK, I have to disagree with this statement, at least in part. No, there is no point in making slams in a situation like this. But there is a very good reason to NOT "leave it alone." Let me explain.

When there is an accident, it needs to be studied and reviewed. It can and SHOULD be used as a teaching aid, to try and prevent that same type of accident from taking more lives.

Military and law enforcement use this as a tool all the time. In fact, fire and EMS uses it as well. It is no disrespect for the dead, but rather a tool to keep the living alive.

The last company that I worked for, was overall, a great company. But their hush-hush policy about accidents was something that I just have to disagree with. I know that the reason for it was because that is what all the lawyers and insurance told the company to do. But they missed quite a number of opportunities to have some practical instruction by doing so.

And I'm not just talking about the few big fatal accidents that occurred within that company while I was there. Even those small incidents could have, and SHOULD have been used as a training tool.

Funny, I was thinkin' the same thing. Is it just me or does it seem like 9/10ths of these "CE England screwed me" threads are written by people who never passed the fifth grade?
It's mostly because of that, that most prospects of England get burn out and start doing things wrong and come on here and start badmouthing once England gets enough of it.
It's ok Big D, we know yer not defending them........
Since the poster yer referring to didn't touch on the subject when quoting your post, allow me....

You don't have to stop anywhere they tell you to. The only reason why you would is if you are on their fuel cap program. To be guaranteed you only pay a buck twentyfive for fuel, you have to buy fuel where they tell you 75 percent of the time and maintain a minimum 5.8 paid mile per gallon. But again, no one is ultimately telling you where to fuel.

As far as the routing, their routing is only a suggestion. It's supposed to be based off the shortest "truck" routing. Most of the times is pretty useful, but there are times when its not.
Here lately, they've been using driver f-ups in their safety videos....

Well, all I can say to that, is that it is about time. I know that the lawyers and insurance companies tell the company brass not to talk about accidents. And yes, I suppose there is a chance that it could lead to some problems in court. But the lawyers just flatly don't realize what a learning opportunity it is. What a good tool it is to prevent the same thing from happening again.

Couldn't agree with ya more. But, you know how it goes, most people have to learn from their OWN mistakes rather than save themselves the time and energy to learn from someone else's.

Pilots too...I used to make my students study the NTSB files in regard to the airplane they flew...Always better to learn from other's mistakes...

We lost a driver, 22yrs old, a few weeks ago in a rollover, fatal mainly for not wearing his seatbelt...

Sometimes you only get one mistake...

Obviously you dont get paid for a trip till you turn in you trip pack. In the case above the driver was nearly done with a trip when the week started. Thus he was paid for 3 trips and 5506 total miles yet still owed $.
He has since left the company and the lease behind.
Me and my wife has just left the company too, as well as four of our friends. One of our friends didnt make it away in time, and he rolled his truck using the bad advise of a crapy trainer.

Just hoping to save some people from making the worst mistake of thier career and ending up here without knowing what they are getting into. They make money no matter what happens to thier students and are pimps great at avoiding responsibility completely.

You have personally seen what? ROFLMAO I think you are full of ####.

You have not worked for a bunch of companies, yet you think you can judge that CRE is the worst? You don't have the experience to make that kind of judgement.
