you'll have a room mate at both hotels most likely...
Both have pluses and minuses... The thing I didn't like about crosslands (stayed there for 3 weeks during school) is they have taken a room made for a double bed and have tried to cram 2 small singles into it... You better like your roommate, cause it is almost as small as the cab of a T660... ;)
But as far as cleanliness, the crosslands beats the am-best hands down...

Quick question to anyone willing to answer. Still deciding between Swift and Stevens(Swift because i am thinking of pulling flatbeds). I believe Stevens has apu in all trucks? And Swift has idle limits, I live in Houston and unsure how people sleep in a stuffy space with no Ac. So from a comfort stand point wouldn't Stevens be a much smarter choice, or am I missing something? Thanks, stay safe everyone.

FYI I was a grunt in the Marines I have slept in 29palms and around the world in 130+heat. Also managed to get frostbite on my ears in the hills in San Mateo lol. So I can sleep anywhere but I would rather not revert back to knuckle dragged status.

The size of the room at Crosslands varies. Mine was good size but I did see some really small rooms.

All trucks have APU's even though stevens discovered they were not as cost effective as originally thought. Shows that they do care about the drivers and kept installing APU's.

Setting in Ripon CA, deliver in the morning to kraft in stockton, Live unload. Then I have a preplan to Aurora CO. produce load.
This week turns out to be a good week, 2813 miles.
I seem to show up where Emulsified was, long after he has left.:biggrin_25520:

Sitting in Charlotte tonight. Deliver tomorrow AM to Cambells down the road a bit. Live unload. Not sure how they are going to scoop these carrots out of the trailer.
Preplan to pick up in Rocky Mount as soon as I'm empty, then off to Toronto.
If this works out as usual, TLea...we should cross each other's path around Lexington...
