I usually manage to take the 30 minute break because it's healthy and I need to use the bathroom by then anyway. I always do a load and tire check (flatbed loads can loosen a LOT) although I don't always remember to note it.

So when you say that you pay for these items that have to be fixed are these paid out of pocket or the company pays them somehow?

what items? Anything we pay for we get reinbursed for. Truck washes, break down/repairs are all paid by check on the spot by the company.
