as I can see DAF cab and Paccar MX engine.... so seems to me TATRA cooperate with Paccar. As I can see they use Wabco ECAS and exessive tire wear is in the past, becouse ECAS keeps ride height and this system is very fast, 5-8 times faster conventional air ride system.
There are some Tatra T163 on coal fields. Generally used as small dump trucks.
T163 is of conventional design with air cooled engine.

and i am very surprised they will offer astronic 16
but i wonder why they still don't have 6x4 8x4 4x2 trucks more of construction segment vehicles are without front wheel drive
also daf says that they will offer tatra trucks through they dealers
since you try it is it unstable with that kind of suspension while driving fast on road comparing to conventional rigid axle trucks -

Tatra is stabil enought. I tell you one more time, using ECAS solves many problems of roll over stability and sway stability.
And I wanna remind you that tatra bulds truck that work in mud, on terrain, but may run on public roads, and Tatra is 55 mph speed governed. -
i know all that but on some videos it looks like it swings too much while cornering at high speeds maybe position of air bag is not wide enough
anyway i would like to see more of them again and i hope that this new product with daf will be more popular -
I understand that DAF wants to get a place on construction truck market and it is a good idea. Volvo offer FMX and VHD + renault Kerax and looking the same Mack truck (I do not remember how do they call it), Mercedes makes Zetros...
and Tatra chassis is really good for terrain. -
and dont forget ginaf ......
-
Ginaf is very unusual truck and anyone who owns it got MANY problems looking for dealer to fix its unique electronically controlle hydrolic suspention. It was THE real problem
-
we dont have here any ginaf only 5 terberg all 5axle
-
will be interesting to see what will be with t163 series. i mean they are mostly trucks for off road and most of them are not registered maybe they will continue that range with their own engine
or maybe they will use another paccar conventional cab , also i am interested what will happen to other range for military and firefighter are they also now with mx engine and daf cab?
