That Central Illinois chain of dealers seems to have best prices on shocks. I got replacement Monroes for cab on my Volvo for $ 30.

Here is another supplier for Class 8 shocks.

Perhaps true when it comes to manufacturer defects but not true when it comes to normal wear and tear. I believe Monroe say that their shocks need replacing after 100k. I think it's good practice to change once a year or when new tires are fitted.Last edited: May 1, 2013
Lost Navigator Thanks this. -
Just got 4 Monroe's from these guys.....
http://www.stengelbros.net/
$53 each and free shipping. -
amazon.com has them too
-
They do..but the cheapest shown is $66 incl shipping, for the volvo 780.
-
Monroes are gas charged. Gabriel are not.
-
This is the place to go if you want to spend big money on shocks. 375.00 per shock.
-
Monroe is gas charged, Gabriel is hydraulic dampening, same thing, you're not going to notice a difference from one to the other as they should be replaced every 100k miles.
You can purchase Gabriel Shocks on www.amazon.com anywhere from $36-$41 with free shipping and depending on your Home State, no sales tax.
