That does look good and you could change up the spices for what tasted good to you - for me, not quite so much hot sauce... I'm a sissy la la about hot spices - LOL!

I can't believe you didn't drain the fat off the hamburger. I looks good but I bet it runs right through you. Why add the bell pepper seeds? There is no heat factor to be had. But hey, you're losing weight and that's all that counts. 38lbs in 4mo. man that's killer! I bet you feel like a brand new man. Congrats Roady!

Anyone ever gets green beans or bell pepper close to my chili and they will get a knife in them. Glad the diet is working for you and you like the food though.

So what goes into your chili? Meat, beans and tomatoes only? Is it that good 5 alarm chili? MMMMM chili.

the recipe originally called for bell pepper, and kidney beans. Neither 1 gets a place in my fridge or cabinets.

Thanks for all the great comment's. I'm loosly following the atkins diet which is why I didn't drain the fat from the chili but I also used lean ground beef.I add a lot of different kinds of veggies to my meals but they always get cooked in the same pot. The reason being that some veggie's taste good if you cook them with the meat and soy sauce and hot sauce and spices together. If you put yellow squash on a plate by itself I have to hold my nose whilst eating. It's just the way I roll ! keep the comments coming and suggestions or request's coming.
    happy ta be here!
