I had posted something a couple of days ago asking but maybe this would be a better attention grabber. But has anyone on this forum gotten theyre CDL through Johnston Community College, if you have do you think it was worth what it cost?

No Problem Kyle. That is differently a much better price too. How many weeks is that one, and is the range time 1-on-1 with the instructor?

Yeah, I'd definitely recommend JCC, especially over the one school which parks their trucks out there on I70, right at the Raleigh/Garner line, just before where 401 splits off to go to Fuquay-Varina. I know several people who've gone through JCC, and they're all quite happy with the end result. You can always just call and ask them for details as far as course pricing and hours goes.

I've got 2 weeks left at the JCC school. I've not been to any other driving schools so I can't compare it to others, but I can't imagine any school being any better. For the most part, the instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. Everything is very thorough. Driving range exercises, time on the road, and time in the classroom are all more than adequate. They'll do all they can to help you get your cdl and graduate. It is a challenge for some to make it all the way. I think, on average, about 70% of those that enroll actually graduate.

Awsome thank you for all the input I am thinking about joining in their october classes I dont have the cash at the moment POC do you have a job while doing this? Are you in the daytime classes or the evening classes I ask because theyre hours in the daytime classes run from 7am to 6pm its a tight scheduale to have classes for 11 hours of a day and also have a fulltime job at the same time

I don't currently have a job and that's the case for the majority of the class. I think only one guy has a full-time night job which is about a mile from campus. He gets about 4 hours of sleep each night usually looks worn out.

I didn't go through JCC, but lived near there for about a dozen years. Never heard a bad thing about them.

Yeah I think I might have to bite the bullet on this one and ask for a helping hand finacially from my parents though I hate asking for help Im sure they will understand and help out since I would consider this a career move
