I doubt it was bad for 5 years.

I worked for USX for 6 1/2 years they had the worst OP's in the world but they ran the crap out of me till they decided to throw my 2800 mile runs on a train. Then they sucked. Happened almost over night. Went from 12k to 14 a month to under 10K pulling 8 to 10 loads more to get that. I put up with a lot of crap becuase I was bringing home the bacon, But why put up with it if you are not.

I suspect that is what happened in this case.

Your right it wasn't bad the whole time, actually everytime I got ready to leave they found me a decent ded. auto lane outta MI.
But this last few months is the straw that broke the camels back

MY Point is that if you have to work your dispatchers to get home, If you have to call and call and call to get set up for another load, If you have to beg for miles? WHATS THE POINT? I can get any job (and have done so BTW) where i have a job description and all I do is my job. When its done i go home, till tomorrow where I do my job again.
When I have to fight and struggle to get miles and home time...... well time to move on. AND I have

    Fiddle Sticks Thanks this.

Well I have have to disagree with all of your statement kid!
You say you've been driving for them for 3 years, That puts you back in 08 when they laid off 400 drivers, did you know they did that? Did you know they also fired 5 trainers that year? How bout this, kid, I averaged about 2100 miles in 08 and part of that as a trainer. That was a rough year. In December alone I only had 3500 miles. So I have to disagree with your 2700 m/wk average. If that were the case everyone would be working for PAM.
Twisting of arms to get what you want should not be necessary if they knew how to do their jobs in T-Town
I hope you have a long lengthy career at PAM.
You sound like great DM material

How many times has PAM lost accounts? Anyone know? I don't have an exact number but I know its a lot!
How many times did they say "we have new accounts we need drivers for"
When are they starting those doubles hazmat dedicated runs they've been talking about for 3years now.
Lost the animal food account, Chrysler (several times, I know they got more now)
And I can't even count how many times a GM lane was pulled
I dont blame you loyalist for sticking to your company, that's fine.
This is more of a place for me to vent, and warn prospective drivers of the possible negative associated with PAM, and from what I've seen here, there are several that agree.
You want to get on my ### about details, the PM me And I'll get em to you
