What are you going to refute that it happened? There is nothing to refute here, I never said "This is what a good drive with a good attitude does"
So No refuting.
And also I wouldn't of had to drive out of route if the IDIOTS in T-town took their heads out of the butts and paid a little attention
Not my fault, nor my job.

I havn't been there in years but like everything else with PAM, they have burned a lot of bridges with Central, even with Cetral's CEO sittinf as Chairman of the Board for PTSI.
So maybe we can use that yard maybe not, can't say for certainty, either way I wsn't taking that load.

OK, good luck to you.

And I guess you didn't read my whole post. How difficult is it to get a phone number from your DM?

Take SOME responsibility for yourself, sir. You'll feel a lot better about yourself.
Oh and my DM we'll just call him B. Is new and also a total idiot with NO clue about the trucking industry. One of those College kids I bet with a degree, which makes him think hes smart haha
I know i had a pissy attitude but you would of to, For what I had going on @ home, and needing to be there, and PAM having amble of time to plan accordingly plan for it. 2 words Retarded IDIOTS!
Well, then, I guess I'll just have to be in idiot come October. Working in the office with a college degree...after three years of driving.

Have a nice day.

Did you read message #59?
and also I dont mind taking responsibility for my self, it when I have to start taking responsibility for others (my DM,LP) that it becomes bothersome.
If you want to do the work of your dispatcher and load planner, fine by me. Good Luck to you!

If the reference is to make clear that I take responsibility for my actions, I have taken my share. I believe it is those at Tontitown that try to train new drivers that are vested with an absolute obligation to train individuals appropriately, rather than just throw them in a truck, pat them on the back, and say "There you go..." I have stated before, and I will state again that it is the speed these drivers are thrust on their own that has caused monumental problems for PAM Transport and those companies associated with C1 and Drivers Solutions. It has come at a cost of losing potentally good drivers that would have succeeded if the safety and hiring people would pay more attention. Not to mention the cost incurred by the individual companies specifically with the accidents and incidents. And the overall financial status of the companies would benefit as a significant cost reduction measure. Good drivers with a little bit more training are lost because of this mentality.
Finally, it seems that the Driver Managers and Load Planners also need some hands on training or they will be an additional issue in this overall problem. I do not see similar problems with Tyson's or Walmart or the like because they make sure they hire drivers adequately trained to handle this career.

Yes if you want to work for a better company then hire on with 1-3 years of experience.
As far as training over a four week period, that is all you really need.
I did fine with one month of training 19 years ago.
That month consisted of 2 weeks solo with a hotel room every night.(Cabover with one bed)
The last 2 weeks was running 100% team driving NJ to L.A..
85% of my 100 trainees had no problem doing what was needed after orientation.
