Contact Georgia and ask them why you are banned and what you can do to fix it.

Elaborating on "a few tickets in georgia" would probably make it so people could actually help you with this. To my knowledge there only a few things that can cause you to lose your license for life. If your tickets were for one of these things then your pretty well screwed. But from the information you have given no one can really do much to help you.
SheepDog Thanks this. -
Banned for life?...Never heard of that even after people got numerous DWIs...I look forward to you posting what they tell you...

Read Part 383.51. There are nine infractions that can cause you to be banned from holding a CDL for life. They are all for a second conviction from any combination of the list of nine. As far as I know, you have to be a CDL holder for these to apply. Of the nine, three only apply while operating a CMV.
It also appears from the wording that it is possible to appeal and get your CDL reinstated after ten years except for a crime involving use of a CMV in a drug felony.
What you have told us makes no sense. There is a lot of missing information.
DUI in a CMV and DWI are two of the infractions.bullhaulerswife, smarttowers, SheepDog and 1 other person Thank this. -
