    My n14 does the same thing. Has just a little over 500k on it. Changed the check valve and still does it. Some days it will fire right up and other days it cranks for a few. I've just learned to live with it. As long as it starts that's all that matters really.

    It has always started good in the summer, but when it gets cold out its hard to get it started without plugin it in, when the other trucks fire right up. thanks for the suggestions
