Lefty, did Curry's shut down completely? There's a J. Curry Readi-Mix plant over here in my town, used to see Curry trucks haul in there, I suppose its owner is related to the Curry Ice and Coal bunch. Could you get on with McLeod? They seem to have taken over Curry's work, and their old trailers.

When calling on a job don't tell them the company has closed. All they have to do is document work history, gaps and that they attempted to get your drug testing history. W-2's should cover showing you being employeed and it is up to them to attempt to get the other stuff.

But on the application you will list that you left because business closed.

It is all about positioning.

Possibly, were working with the bank right now to see where we stand as far as borrowing for equipment cost, and working on setting up a brokerage. We will just have to see where it goes. In this economy im not sure what the right move is at times.

 

Take a look at the interior picture of the seats...either the guy smoked like a chimney, or maybe some smoke from cooking in that Winnebago strapped to the frame has wrecked the headliner and sleeper boot trim. You would think they would have tried to clean that up a little before they advertised it. Either way, it's NASTY!

Yeah, me too. If you find a deal on a used stepdeck and a minimum of equipment for it, I can pull that too. Through the big downturn of 08 I didn't slow down at all. If you can't pull one thing, just grab something else.
