Why not independent? You live in a strong part of the country for flatbeds.

I don't think you can really ever have no forced dispatch. Maybe not said but turn down a couple loads that they need covered and you are pushed to the bottom of the list.

I'm independent, thinking about buying a trl but not sure who to lease it on with? Did flatbed back in the mid 80"s so I'm rusty on the chaining down part of it. Hauling containers as of now.

So you have your own authority, apportioned plates and insurance already?

That seemed kind of rude for someone trying to help. I would just get my authority if you have your own trailer might as well.

    BigJohn54 and Hanadarko Thank this.

I hope u have a business plan established first. Good to hear that u have truck, plates and insurance. U need a framework to build on. Then look for a company to lease on.

This has gone way south. I've been a O/O since 1979 and I'm just asking does anybody know a good company to put on a flatbed in the state of OHIO. Columbus Ohio. I don't need any frame work or my own rights.
