Have any of you guys seen Whitey lately? He has not been on here in a few weeks. Just wondered how he has been making out, miles, etc.

I was behind 10-12 cars today on a 2 lane road we were all doing 40-45 mph in a 55 zone. We were being lead by a millis truck. Near the top of a hill the lead 4 wheeler decided to pass the lead truck(out of frustration) only to meet an oncoming motorcycle at the crest(stupid!). Somehow managed to pull it off and the potential fatal accident didn't occur.
The point to this story is said truck passed SIX truck pull offs in 4 miles. Now i'll be the first to say they can wait, i'm at work and I don't go to their office and mess it up so ........, BUT not only did this guy miss an opportunity to leave a positive impression on 12 people about our company and truckers in general; because he wasn't courteous another individual felt compelled to pass in such an unsafe manner that he could have killed someone.
Just be courteous when u can guys, it don't cost ya anything and it might just come back to ya. Im sure if your not it'll come back so what have u to lose.DenaliDad, GtownWing and rubberducky68 Thank this. -
I ride a motorcycle and hopefully I'll be driving a truck soon with Millis. I've never had a problem with meeting a truck on my bike but I have come around a curve and a 4 wheeler was across the road getting ready to back up a driveway. There major pucker factor and about a month ago I come around a blind curve and a 4 wheeler decided that he wanted to go back and talk to some people so he was on the back side of the curve in reverse on my side of the road. Some people!

I love my 2 wheeler also. My major pet peeve is the guys that blow their grass in the road. What the #!<># are they thinking. Trying to avoid a wind row,c'mon. Same jack###s that plow snow across highway and leave trails when its so #### easy to plow in direction that road plows do and leave it on shoulder where it belongs. I usually drop my plow for these guys and put the trails back in their drive. People are so frickin lazy and inconsiderate.

well today i just paid my deposit for my class on sept 19th in trenton. just have to go get my physical done and get my permit. i asked my doc about the physical..they said everyone who comes needing a physical done for anything usually already has a form in hand. does millis have a certain form i need? i know i need a DOT physical just dont know how to get ahold of one.

I will be heading to class on sept 19th in Trenton too...I'm working on my permit now and still need the physical.....I think you can print the DOT form off the fmcsa.dot.gov site....if you do a search on yahoo "dot physical form" it should pop up 1st.....the email I got from millis said bring long form and physical card.

Congrats to each of you. As far as the long form, that advice sounds right. Take a second blank and give it to doc's secretary, she can make copy's for future physicals. Lord knows they've got a place to file it.iceblue Thanks this.
