Awfully quiet here lately. Anyone else taken advantage of the cell phone discounts we get from the major companies? I stopped in Verizon and got the discount with no problems - 19% which I'm pretty happy with.

 

I have not yet. Been so busy this year. I figure that to the absence in post.

 

Busy is good. I started on a dedicated account in Jun for four weeks, and keep getting extended on it. Now I'll probably be here into Nov. I miss running out west, but have steady freight and good pay. Right now that's a real good thing considering the economy. Could almost get used to this Mon-Fri schedule too.

 

been a busy summer...I have been on home time but it seems I drive to where the truck is every other weekend..... we have been swamped but not complaining.....how is everyone else?

 

Step vs flat. What are you guys seeing? Advice?

 

Flat.. Mercer has more flat frieght then step.. But then again it is all about what you like too do i guess

As a independent O/O, i sure seem to be hauling a lot of Mercer freight this year.

 

Verizon ... I just logged into my VZW account and there's a section "Mercer Transportation Co Inc Discounts" right there on my first page. Wasn't there yesterday since I've been on the page several times all weekend long shopping for a new phone. And it does confirm our discount is 19%.
