i've went back 20 pages and i've yet to see anything like that... ive been on this forum since it started and no one constantly complains about freight and its pay... everyone knows that stuff coming from the east going back west or loads out the north coming back south doesnt pay crap, but we all know the deal as we usually make up for the pay coming back from the west or going up north its no secret, so if you can quote a post of such where you got this from then we can go from there....

Park it???? really.... and do what?? force someone hand to give me another truck?? just flat out force to give me another rig huh?? you know what we two different people, what you would of done compared to me is a whole another argument and i leave it at that....

to be honest i can care less....due to a couple post its obvious someone from Sheldon is checking in and out of this board and it doesn't bother me one bit, i speak my mind, keep it respectful and keep it moving... until a fleetwide message comes thru or i personally get a phone call telling me to knock it off (cause if either one was reading this, short of giving my name, they already know who i am based on my truck situation the past three months) imma keep at it plain and simple..... now go find me my post about us VA drivers crying about pay and so on...

 

Good day gentlemen! Hope everyone is staying dry today, I swear it has not stopped raining since I left RDC this morning on my way up to Warners for tomorrow morning. There were a couple spots along the way that were near the magnitude of a monsoon! Kinda funny how people act like they're driving on 2" of ice when even the smallest amount of rain is falling. I did have a close call though. I was getting ready to jump out in the left lane after taking a couple of looks in my mirror, flipped on my turn signal & started to move over when headlights started flashing from the plume of water coming out from under my trailer. Some dope in a little silver hatchback was sitting in there and I didn't even know it. Needless to say he got right next to me and let me know who was number one in his book! It still befuddles me why people don't turn on their headlights when it's raining or snowing, especially if they are driving in a white or silver car! Anyways, enough with my rant. Have a good week & if anyone is up in Warners in the morning stop by and I'll give you a free bowl of Fruit Loops! I was in Goddard two weeks ago and a Swift driver gave me three huge bags of Kroeger cereal that was rejected so I have enough to go around! Be safe all & happy trails!

 

@Jellybean the shop doesn't mind if you put in a plug and play Sirius receiver in your truck, heck I think most everyone here has them. If you have a direct input box that goes inline of the antenna sometimes you have to pull some stuff apart to run the wires but it's nothing more advanced than needing a phillips head screw driver. If you're lucky enough to get a KW it is pointless to have a magnetic antenna since everything on the cab is fiberglass & you will need one of the mushroom looking ones. If once you sign on, shoot me a PM and I'd be glad to help you with suggestions on running wites through the dash.

husker was that you over to my left this morning at warners?? i was so #### sleepy man i still dont remember moving the truck from the dock over to the parking area... i would of came and spoke if that was you but i was just out of it!!! and yeah my worst fear ended up happening... someone else got my truck, i knew it was going to happen especially after hearing about the trucks being blown over....mr safety man said someone truck broke down and had to give them my new ride... well hopefully my stay in this current truck is short and brief, he said it could be a week or two and i'm willing to take him at his word and i havent full settled in this truck so we shall see... off to the ruff buff for cheese!!! i holla

 

Total shop talk question:

What kind of Super Secret Special (or just regular) parking is near Papetti's in Elizabeth, NJ? First time in there tomorrow. I'm golden going in, but I'm concerned about having the time to get out.
