Fortunately I know of one excellent shop, and one darn good one close to me. Both of them have been in business a long time and have many repeat customers and know what they are doing....and stand behind what they do. Hard to find anymore.

I have to agree working on Cb radios as a rule is not going to get you rich. -
The best way I learned to install a CB is to read up on them and learn about how they work and what to do and not to do. Believe it or not, it's not rocket science. I figure I can save a few dollars every time I want to change from one vehicle to another, or if I want to add a new component such as an antenna, etc.
I almost chalk hooking/setting up a CB radio up there with car audio. I can also wire up a complete car stereo, amps, subs, etc. It's not rocket science, but you'd be surprised at how many are stumped trying to wire up even a simple car radio. Heck back in my teens I was coaching friends on how to do full car stereo installs. -
Now that's funny right there, I don't care who you are!
