It is amazing how the ignorant jump on a band wagon and miss the point or spout off ridiculous claims based on misinformation and stupidity. Fact: Stevens have one of the highest driver/miles ratios in the reefer industry, tough to do that when they are always stuck at the dock. These are independant findings and I don't work for Stevens. hmmmmm. Nice equipment too.

ALL Stevens trucks have muffled exhaust, therefore we can use the jake if we need to during those times. You can barely hear my jake as it is! -
I worked for Stevens for exactly one month. In that time I had only one weeks pay over 2000 miles, That was the week I told them that I quit and to bring me back so I could clean out the truck. Most of the other weeks I made between 765 miles and 1100 miles. I believed in the B.S. that I got from them and went back out and only made 800 miles for the next week, that ended my month with them. Im a driver that believes that is a Company can not run me at least 2800 miles a week as an OTR Driver then they do not need me as a driver. Stevens from what I see is a Company that loves new driver to the industry, They do not know that they are getting screwed on a daily basis. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) I rate Stevens as a -5, Stay away from Stevens, you have more respect Working filpping burgers at Mc D's

You're kidding right LOL, 30 days out of school you know nothing. You are a ROOKIE. What did you expect?, to be driving a 600HP 379 hood?, stainless trailer?, 700 miles a day? Come on, return to reality, it takes a back bone your first year to deal with all the crap.JohnBoy Thanks this.

Another 1 post wonder. I have never had a week with less than 2000 miles at Stevens unless I was at home all week.

There is a lot more to this story than meets the eye. I have never heard of a Grad Fleet driver getting so few miles the first month out... unless they have a problem with following procedures. Such as daily check calls, trip plans or being on time.
Quite frankly, I don't believe the post.JohnBoy, Corporal_Clegg and Dryver Thank this. -
HAHA! Boy they got him brainwashed! Thank you sir, may I have another?

They pay low because all companies do? I almost crapped myself when I read that nonsense.THE PLAYMAKER Thanks this. -
Yes there is alot more to this story, First of all I made all my check calls, and all my deliveries on time. Another thing I failed to say in my original post was that I had been driving OTR since 1993, that is almost 12 years experience as a driver. I did the best job I could with this Company and all I got from them is screwed.

Big Al...
And when did YOU drive for Stevens?
Thought so.
Jeff...
there is always a first time, but I stand by my statement: I have never known a grad student to have so few miles without there being more to the story.
