I drive a '03 387 Pete. It doesn't have the built in fridge, and I'm looking to buy a mini fridge to put into the storage cabinet on the passenger's side.
I did a rough measure of the space, and it looks like I need to stay under 17.5"x17"x40". I think the Coleman Powerchill will fit into the cabinet, but I'm extremely reluctant to buy another one... I've burned out 2 already, in the last two years... And at $100 a pop, I need something a little more reliable.
Any ideas on a make/model for a mini fridge that I could conceal inside those dimensions?
Thanks,
Lugnut

What I did lugnut was buy an Emerson fridge at Target. It has an independent freezer door like a house fridge and the doors has a lock and key. It was a little too big to fit inside by maybe an inch.
But you will find the lower cabinet in a 387 is made of three pieces, a door and two side panels. I used the one behind the drivers seat because my inverter was there. I took off the door and the panel behind the seat, leaving the panel by the bunk. Then it fit perfect in there and I put my microwave on top and strapped it all down. It looked pretty good and functional. You don't find yourself opening two doors that way.buddyvuk Thanks this. -
I picked up on an Avanti fridge online that fits nicely in the lower cabinet space in my Int 9400. Has worked great year round even with the truck off in the heat. Uses very little power. Keeps a carton of milk good just like the home fridge. Have it plugged into the inverter and it has gone upwards of a full 34 hr reset without taking the truck batteries down. Didn't mind seeing if it would since the truck was at the house at that time.
I go home each week, so I prepare a batch of meals for the week and load up the fridge.
