Ryder, Chattanooga...horrible!!!

    Week before last i spent 16 hours hours there waiting to get unloaded and reloaded!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They load/unload 24 hours. Broker said load needed to be run straight thru, so i pick up and get to delivery at 11pm on a wednesday. Thursday afternoon at 3 im finally gone. Oh yea here is the kicker, I delivered 4 yes 4 pallets!!!!!!!!:biggrin_25513: And i picked up load of racks!!!:biggrin_25513:

    Didnt learn my lesson, although not as bad, i spent 5 hours there yesterday, and they also take your keys before they unload or load you!!!:biggrin_25516:

    Sorry, the name of the place is called Kenco Logistics. Ryder was the broker and they are also the dedicated carrier there for volkswagen.

    Yeah, not that place, but others I have given them my car keys before. :)

    With the new VW plant, I'd say there are alot of things to fine tune as far as logistics go. I'd make sure and get detention.

    The only place I had to give my keys up was Georgia Pacific in Ontario, CA. But that was only during the actual loading while I sat in a "secured" area inside the dock. It was quick though so it wasn't a big deal.

    Isn't Kenco also a carrier based in Chattanooga? I thought I have seen a truck with that name on the door in my travels...

    IDK for sure...... I do know there are a few kenco logistics warehouses here in chattanooga. I never see a kenco trucking company in here....
