Hoss, you ain't gonna believe this, but that crazy sombitch just tried to drive right up under my truck!
gotta love those quotes...anyways new to the discussion i am considering a career in trucking..have several years of experience driving taxis straight trucks...everything except a commercial vehicle...as mentioned before...I have read many pros and cons and decided to do it. I would appreciate both positive and negative feedback on any advice anyone but new and experienced drivers could give me. -
read thru all the posts in Aviary. That will give you a lot of good advice.

appreciate it very much..I imagine in may ways trucking is like cabbing except with the random stabbings.....I was stabbed a few years ago while in my cab.....I drove mainly out of the Philadelphia metro area....

very informative CPL. I apprecaite the feedback...btw I have read elsewhere on this forum that it's suggested to politley ask the recuriter about doing a full BG/DL check on you before being sent to Dallas...you thoughts on that?

One thing I would suggest, go to your local DMV/DPS or whatever they call it in your state and ask them if there are any holds in any state that would keep you from getting a CDL. There can be holds that you have absolutely no idea about. Its usually easy to get it fixed, but nice to know ahead of time.ArcticFox Thanks this.
