Stevens Transport aviary

I don't know if its always this way but the Stevens students have been the very last to get assigned trainers. Students that need reassigned for what ever reason and those ready for their O2 training and those who came in from outside schools and those who came in with experience have all gone out before us...

 

Luck of the draw. The main consideration in dispatching a student (after they have been cleared to dispatch) is smoking/non smoking.
Second criteria is if you request to go out with an Alliance trainer.
Randall is good in matching students and trainers. He knows most of the trainers and quirks, so he tries to match accordingly (things like age preference). Most of what he knows, he keeps stored in his noggin, so when he's gone like this, the fill ins tend to struggle.

Only stating what Ive witnessed. Just to remind as Ive already posted, Randell is on vacation this week. Spoke to a couple trainers that were in the classes today. All said the same, they are not leaving till Thursday-Friday. Not getting out again today. My luck continues...

mistermino..how is school going? I am considering stevens....what was the process of hiring like? have already done the online app...how long does it take for a recruiter to call?

 

Atlanta to Texarkana and back in twenty eight hours? That ain't never been done before.

Just overall I have read many forums....glad to see that there are people with the same kinds of questions I have, I enjoy reading all the posts both good and bad.

 

6 volt deep cycle batteries are great for running your inverter. Keep in mind that you need 12" of height clearance and 4 of them are close to 300 lbs.

 

I am glad that this forum exists...giving me lots of insight on how the process goes at Stevens... I have a few questions...would it be helpful to ask upfront about running a full backgroud/dl check on me? just don't want to get into a situation where I am responsible for that big loan...
