I was just hackin' on ya. When I pulled in to the TA tonight it looked like an o/ o swift had smacked a car with his trailer right out in the street. Of course that got everyone going about swifties in the truck stop.

 

Martinsville, IL. Have to take the truck to the KW dealer in the morning in Terra Haute. One of the brackets holding the fuel tank up lost a piece of rubber. Tank has twisted about 2" inward. Shop mgr in Effingham and KW say that it will be good to drive to KW. Warranty Work. Was going to get there tonight, but KW told me that there was a serious accident on I-70 just east of their, and everyone was getting routed off at Exit 11, two trucks and car and possible fire and fatality.

 

SLC terminal like I planned. Packed in bad with trailers everywhere. Saw a guy hit the high range heading to the gate. The O/O that I was talking and me waved at the hot rudder to slow down and he flipped us off. The O/O called in to his terminal and made a report. Idiots. Live unload tomorrow then racing off to Cheyenne for another live unload. Then hopefully a good weekend load.

 

Is there really any question why I refuse to train?

 

Fortunately the next generation of Swift trainers are about to enter the pipeline.

Lincoln, NE. Drove through a STUPID thunderstorm east of Omaha. Hail breaking windows of cars pulled off on the highway. Crazy.

 

In South Carolina just picked up a brand new Cascadia with less than 100 miles on it.. So new I had to peel all the plastic off the chrome and stainless steel. Put the tags on it as well as the stickers.

Home for a week ...
