I don't think it is so much that the freight is slow... I am finding out that the planers have been allowed/given their own fleets. The planers are giving "their" fleet the good loads and the crap loads that are left are being given out to the DM's to give to us. I know this is the case, I have talked to divers that have been assigned to planers and are not under DM's anymore....
It has been almost 2 months now sense the last Hershy load I've seen.... We had been getting 1 to 2 a month. -
sounds like a f up'd mess to me

Well was told to show up today at 12:00 and did. Got there and waited around for KC till 2 pm. Then went down to the shop to check out the truck was told that it was at the truck wash geting detailed. So waited around till 3:30 and then had to go through paperwork just to take the truck to Utah. So the truck they gave me is a O/O turn in and I have to take it to Utah so I can get a truck. There was three of us from the same class that are all doing the same thing so we can get a truck.
Then I find out that I have a load that goes to Walmart in Corinne, UT. However, I have to take someone with me go by St. George and drop him off so he can pick up a truck in a shop. So will eventually get to WVC and maybe get a truck. So far I am not impressed with the upgrade system in Fontana just hope that once this mess is done I can actually start making some money. -
are they paying you just to move them trucks around?
-
Yes that is why they gave me a load so I get paid for the miles just a long about way to get my own truck. My DM was hopping to be able to get me a load back towards Fontana soon so that once I get my truck I can go home for a few hours and get it organized.

If any of you have Aldwin as a DM out of Fontana, yell him Mike trk#95958 says hi.

Klingon, I know for sure what you say is true about planners having drivers. I don't know about the malicious intent of it but it is true. My wife and I had a planner instead of DM and under our planner ran 3 other teams. We did get crappy loads occasionally but for the most part we ran and ran hard! We were not on any kind of dedicated account but were like dedicated to all the hot loads and time sensitive stuff. We did a lot of shuttling from drivers that couldn't do it too. How you get picked for it I don't know but one of the teams couldn't cut the mustard and was given to a DM and replaced by another top notch team. I know for sure that none of the teams rarely went home so maybe this was a requirement or stipulation.
Lady K Thanks this. -

Does Central go East Coast alot? All the driver's seem to prefer west coast and I understand why but I'm a East coast person and I love congested cities for some reason. Lol living in Arizona is cool but I miss the East coast every day.
