While I agree there is not a human alive that should fall for that, once I was presented with someone hoping I would. I rented a hall for my wedding and part of the contract was we clean up. So we did and the security guard lady wanted me to sign a blank piece of paper saying she will fill in it was cleaned up, nothing broke, etc.. Of course I made her actually write all that down before I would sign. Of course right under whee she stopped writing so nothing could be added without major noticing.
It would not shock me that some fool would sign it, but I do agree that it sounds like I need to go borrow my sister's boots she uses in the pig barn. :)

First of all, supposedly it was shoved in with several bol's?? Well I don't care if it's bills of lading, a repair order or anything my signature goes on I don't sign a darn without reading everything on it first. If that person signed something without knowing what it was, well sorry but you got egg on your face. You got what you had coming. no one will ever tell me sign anything & then refuse to give me a copy of it all! No copy no signature PERIOD.

Uh, the trucking company was cited, not the driver. That is the companies problem. They should fight it anyway. They would be that one in court.

Read up on your states Wage Payment and Collection Act. You'll generally find it under the States Dept. of Labor section. Some states make this illegal. You can always say you were coerced into signing the agreement. You should get your money back.

My ex tried that.. she wanted a quickdeed signed, told her nope.. Had to be notarized. At 10pm it would not happen.. She wanted me to sign a blank one to show I saw the paper..

After reading his other post I deemed it BS. He don't know what he is talking about.

Your hours don't start until you start them. Plus letting someone run over you isn't the brightest. It takes 5 seconds to make a copy of a piece of paper.

I need to sell this guy some swamp property. He's gullable. He also knows alot about this "other" driver. :)
