Whats a DAC report?

Its basically like a credit report for your driving carear. Good and bad.

 

It is a reporting company that maintains a file on a driver similar to the way a credit file is maintained on a consumer. Companies report their experiences with you as a driver. Then your next company checks to see what your previous employer says about you.

They might report things like you abandoned a load if you quit and leave the truck at a truckstop with a load on.

 

Dac; it's the chosen way to pay" a Driver back! for not" eating a companie's ****! if a Driver won't" be abused, by a company and move's on...they put on their (slandering BS DAC) ANYTHING they want, to screw up your ability to just move on with your life. (ie) our local-state-Fed law's/Reg's DOT etc...are NOT" enough...to control Driver's (by the way;thease agencie's use; proof/fact's etc...) unlike the Dac BS. thay can" and do/say anything" they want, to pay" a Driver back! for leaving them. It's Slander" at the least, and life ruining more often than not! but why should anybody care" or do anything about something that is so wrong to Driver's...after all; we're unskilled" labor and anyone" can drive a Truck. Everone know's that Truck Driver's are a dime a dozen" and all" but worthless...an American Truck Driver.

 

DAC started in 1997 in the turn of the internet age as a subscription based employee screening service. Many companies subscribe to it in the trucking industry and even places like banks, hospitals, universities, casinos, etc. It has evolved just like the three credit bureau's and consist of companies like United States Investigative Services (USIS), HireRight and Rapid Hire.
Though it is a beneficial service, like road dog said, it can and has been abused by vendictive companies. It is protected by the fair credit report act (FACT?) and an employee can request a free copy once a year and dispute any errors.
