Yes, if you assume them signs were always there. There was different signs the first couple years.
But we all ain't as smart as you. -
Jealous, huh?
-
No, I ain't no dummy and they confused me and 21,000 other drivers. They actually had one of them electronic signs out that you are suppose to read 3 flashing sentences that takes 15 seconds but you only have 5 seconds. Along with the orange signs with poor choice of words. I see in the picture they changed the wording and that was last years article. I was in heavy traffic in the middle lane too. I probably couldn't of gotten over if I wanted too.
If you haven't had a ticket yet, you will. Don't count your chickens...

That website explains it well. But the signs use to say "all trucks over 18 ton 2 axles must detour". No puctuation. That can be misinterpreted as a set of axles like we weigh out and our weight restrictions are measured.
Why not do like the website says and just say 18 ton?
Plus on the bottom of the page sums it up.
The bridge is still safe for all. It's just a money racket.ironpony Thanks this. -
Doubtful... I'm up through there all the time, and I can read. Taking I-295 around, or I-195 to get up north of Fall River doesn't come as a problem to me. The first time I was up that way, I'd been warned in advance though...
-
I wasn't though. I got on the CB and nobody would answer. Then when I seen two trucks coming the other way is what done me in.

Just the same, with all of the signs - including the message boards north of the 95/295 split - you gotta admit that anyone that isn't thinking WTF????!!!! is just a little south of brain dead these days!
