Its Union related as well. When all the competitors for Drivers are Union they have to match that pay scale. The other side of that coin is cost of living tends to be higher in areas dominated by unions.

Ya markham is a hole, welcome to the hood. However there are other terminals with some real ace-holes working there and dumb as the day is long.

That is true Rob, However old catfish must not know out of town drivers are dispatched by log op's not that terminal. I get to talk to them alot as I run more system loads than dedicated, more money and not so boring. Just got back from Savannah log op's gave me a load going to the upper u.p. in Michigan, Thank you.

Well if you dont think Jeff is any good well I dont know what to tell you! He is making me a lot of money and gets me home without a problem. Maybe you should just run the south and stay away from Markham, you seem to have lots of anger towards them, not healthy!
