The delivery address SHOULD be on their Bill of Lading. If it's not and they don;t say anything, isn't that the driver's fault? Be professional and don't leave with the load unless you have all the info you need to find the consignee and deliver on time.

Sometimes I read the posts on here and scratch my head wondering. wondering things like, "why doesn't their DM tell them it's a relay?" Or, "Why didn't the driver call or QComm back and tell them that the address was in a residential area and could they verify it, and talk directly to the CSR?" I've done it before. Sure, the DM isn't going to be happy about being doubted, but when they get in a hurry they're just like us, they make mistakes. You get all mad when they come down on you when you make a mistake, but you do the same thing to them, don't you? If they're no help at all (which is probably most of the time), call the local PD and have them help. Had to do that many times over the last 22 years. And I remembered to pass the correct info onto my company. If they didn't correct their error, it's all on them next time.

Hey Katwoman, what do you think of them wanting to do away with the week's vacation for every 30,000 miles? I chose to keep it the way it is.

I DID try firsthand before seeing this thread and I don't remember a company that was more cooperative with my needs. They get me home when I want to be home, they hear me out on issues I have and actually TRY to fix them. Their shop is the main complaint I have with Celadon but there is good and bad with EVERY company. NO company nor single person is perfect. What I want to know is, did you give and complete a proper notice before terminating employment with Celadon? Did you return your truck in decent condition and clean to THEIR specifications?

    WHY did you leave Celadon?
WHAT did they put on your DAC EXACTLY that is not true?
HAVE you taken measures to get a copy of your DAC to SEE what exactly was written up by Celadon?

YOUR career is in YOUR hands. You CANNOT just leave your record and name out in the wind and trust that EVERY company will be 100% accurate. There is a chance that they got you and another driver mixed up and if that is the case, Steve Russell himself would probably remove whatever is not correct from your record himself. I DO know the man, I DO think he is a #######, but I KNOW he is an HONEST one.

I had to pick up in Jax as well and the address I was given was Rio Grande Ave.

    ..I thought of you. :)

That's the Load Planners' fault, and they couldn't care less about you being 2 days past your hometime date. I don;t even believe that info comes up on their computer screen, only on your DM's. So far (6 mos), I've gotten home on-time or early every time. and I live in southern Florida! Ask your DM about "empty moves" if your that close to the house.

I dunno if you have the same #### in the states there but if you went to a labor board of some sort, at least in canada they would investigate and if the company did lie and put down terminated when you werent, first they would make them fix it, then nail them to the wall with a massive 5 to 6 figure fine depending on the size and worth of the company, and how frequently they try pull that sort of thing
