Try this man, and it worked for me as well. Read the section, at the end they have that little test. Most of them are the actual questions on your written test. Right the section, and page number down, and the answer to each question. Then go back and test yourself. It will work. And thats comming from a #######! :biggrin_25525:

Yeah ive been doing that, my wife helps me too. I think most of my negativity comes from when i took the test before and i failed the whole thing, but i didn't study, so i think its just stuck in my head that im gunna fail

Test an't that hard, written test that is unless you take the hazmat test that's a another ball game.I pass every but the air bake test on the first try.Toke me 2 times to pass there air brake test, now as far I can see tankers is kinda easy and the haszmat is the toughest one.I also agree about getting your permit before you start, its easier and better to have it for your first day of class.

Yea the air brakes is what I failed once too. But i re-took it right then and there. Now im one week from graduation, and about the highest of everyone in the school.

Do yourself a huge favor and forget Roadmasters. First of all, if you start doing your research you will find that most companies will only hire a student if they have graduated with 320 hours. Another thing is that PTEC is only $2,700 and you will have 9 weeks. I still think 9 weeks isn't enough, but it's a lot better then 2 weeks!

Yeah unfortunately you will probably have to go otr for the first 6 months to a year to get your foot in the door. Expect to be gone 4-6 weeks at a time. But once you get over that hurdle then you should have no problems finding a dedicated route or local gig.
