Company trucks are governed at 62, most o/o trucks are governed at 65. One of the loaners we had was governed at 70. You get fussed at if you spend too much time overspeed.

Dole dedicated is the best for any team or trainer. Ken is the planner and dm, and he knows what he is doing. We would have stayed for him, but the rest of the crap we went through just made it too much. I am loving our big bunk. Central is a good starter company. We wouldn't be where we are without the hard work and fighting we did at Central. I wish everyone success.

I second that motion! Central is a very good and well rounded company! Starter or not. Central went above and beyond on many occasions to help us out and that is the number one reason I recommend them.

Anyone know if there are any companies that will allow you to bring along your small pet (mine is a 12lb dog) once you are assigned your own truck? Fees involved? Or if the company will not, any way you can negotiate the allowance of a pet with your recruiter or D/M??? Thanks everyone!!

Ok here's my stupid question for the day, If we take our Hometime in Sacramento,CA. where does your coming and going loads come from usually? Wife and I are curious of drive times after last drop and next pickup? Would hate to drop off at a yard that is 3-4 hours away from home and have to drive 8 hrs of my day off away in a empty truck....Any info you can help us with is great..... Thanks

not to be rude but this is mainly about Central Refrigeration company. They dont have a pet policy but was told first offense of you getting caught with an animal they would tell you to return it second would fine you for it. They lease the trucks and dont want animals to damage the inside of their leases.

Now if you want to know about other companies policies might be best to make a post or do some research on the matter on this forum or the company websites. not trying to be rude or anything so please dont take it that way.

Wow I guess they let go of the 2 local drivers working out of the drop yard. That did the bay area. Hard to believe they would send the local drivers to the bay area when they have enough to handle in local alone. Not to mention last count they only have three. 8 do know they have a few drivers that like to run the west coast only. One used to run back and fourth from Washington to cali.
