Most of our directions are like that! Direction of next turn should be FIRST! Then street...

LOL! I am the same way when it comes to directions! It drives me nuts when I'm coming in from a different direction than what is in the QC and it just says turn left or right, sometimes compass directions is very beneficial! Also a heads up, the little taco shop that is on the northeast corner of Blue Island Ave & Damen is mighty tasty. When you walk in you would not think much of it, but I highly recommend it. Also if you need a place to park until dispatch has a plan go west on Blue Island to the first stop sign and turn left. You will go past Frozen Assets on your RHS and as soon as you go through that intersection you can park up on the dirt area up on the curb.

    Hawk,
yea I did try to call you the other day on the CB, figured you had the tunes up loud! So how many miles does that 707 have on it, I met the guy who was driving it before you a couple of weeks ago in Jessup, well I hear he quit! Won't go into details. I'm currently in beautiful Newington Ct. at Morning Star for a load to slow ### Martin-Brower in Manassas. Yea I heard KW is spitting the 660's out, guess everyone want's one?

Hey guys hope everyone is doing good i just made it home last night only took 12 days to make the trip to Cali and back and that was with a 34 so good work by the people in Iowa, people must love the 660 cuz you see a ton of em on the road. how are they with air circulation? I can be in the back of my pete with the front windows open and i get no breeze in the back, probably my only complaint with the peterbilt wish ours had the bigger window in the back that you could slide open.Hope you guys have a good week ,good luck with the truck Hawk.

Well for those of us who live in Va. yesterday was the BIG earthquake, for Va. that is, they say they felt it up to Canada? I live about 25 miles from the epicenter and while there was some local structural damage there were no fatalities. My wife called after getting home and told me of pictures on the floor and other stuff that had vibrated off of shelfs, but no big issues, even though she did mention a crack in the foundation? Guess I'll have to check that out when I get home. We faired well, compaired to a friend who had his chimney collapse and plaster crack in the house and foundation issues. Well now for those of us running the east coast I guess it's time to get ready for Irene, what joy, I-95 north through Connecticut during a hurricane:biggrin_25516:.

    Be safe all.

I was wondering if any of you guys felt that shaker yesterday. No offense to you guys, but in a way I feel someone is actually listening to me when I hope for everything east of Ohio to just break off and float into the Atlantic! All joking aside, glad to hear you and your families are safe and well. Where was the actual epicenter of the quake? As far as air flow goes in my KW it seems to be ok. If you open all of the windows & bunk vents it seems to circulate quite well. if that hurricane even brushes the east coast it is going to be royal pain in the arse!

    Epicenter was around Mineral, VA.

From what I've read, the quake was felt so far away because of the plate dynamics in the area. On the West Coast, multiple fault lines will subdue and deflect the transmission of tremors, while in the East, smack in the middle of the tectonic plate, with no major faults and a different make-up of the bedrock, you get shakers that travel for miles.

Here I am in Green Bay waiting for a midnight unload. Hopefully I miss Irene.
