lol, thats what i told them.. i have read some of your posts, how is your wife doing, and how have you been with your miles? are you still happy with them?

LMB does'nt work for JCT anymore, but he is still kind enough to post here sometimes & help with info. If you read the last 100 or so pages you'll find that even though he does'nt work there anymore, he has nothing but good things to say about JCT. To me that speaks volumes about the company.Alanp613 and grannylane Thank this.

Let's see got our of orientation just fine, inspected my truck made very thorough list and becuz I was ready to make money I am using loaner truck until IH repairs something they should have done right the first time. It's all good. Thanks to JCT for the free loaner, newbies no TRK payment for first 3 settlements. I was able to get my feet wet. This week will be my first settlement opted to not turn in first trip becuz payroll said it would mess up my free fillup. Thanks to Mr. John Christner that saves me over $500 cuz my TRK was on 1/4 or less if I member right. I will tell you this much if you don't make money here its your own fault. This is the most professional organization I've been with. They thrive on communication, organization and on time delivery. If you have any hours on you 70 they will work you. I haven't had a day off since the 11th this month. I have never pulled refer and besides the learning curve of a new company I am a huge fan. No experience w refer have to become organised w the hours and fuel thing but its not hard. The only advice I can give is make sure your refer is full of fuel before your last stop. This illuminates the run around to find fuel cuz JCT requires all refers be full if you do a drop and hook at a shipper or receiver and as a driver I appreciate that becuz it allows me to hook and go. I like he freedom to price shop my fuel. Had some issues w rental / loaner truck and I must say the breakdown dept handled it well. It took some time but being a company jock all my life I SS use to time issues, however it was a 2 hour time deal and I was impressed. Also realizing I'm not the only driver here I can wait. I plan my assistance need to fit my schedule , provided its not a surprise. Well the miles r here my first settlement week is 3280 miles and so far this week 2856. For a new person its not bad. JCT and I need to become familiar w each other. Such as me showing the planners and dispatches that my eta's r good and they can count on my communication re load issues or HOS. well gonna get some rest. Check back on a little later on cuz I have to deliver in am on allentown pa go2 new jersey pu load, then off to Florida for wed am delv, which gives me 3800+ for week and it will looking for load and money. Gotta love it. I work just as hard here as I did being a company jock but now I reap better rewards. Be safe and profitable.

Another point that can't be overstated is that the JCT drivers I speak with are extremely polite and helpful. I have run into a few non or former JCT drivers saying this and that, however, remember that as people we don't fit
every opportunity and to find one that does is the key. So all u people who have found that place that fits. Congratulations.grannylane, BigR, Alanp613 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Well said no job is right for everyone, does'nt matter how good it is someone will always find something to #### about. Funny thing about the few negitive posters on this thread, they seem to just reinforce the positive that much more when you read their b.s. Glad to see your doing well out there Paul, i hope to join you soon, keep the wheels rollin'.
Alanp613 and grannylane Thank this. -
Hey Paul, what kind of loaner did they give ya?

I left JCT reluctantly, but I was needed at home. I am now working for the Pumpkin, on a dedicated account out of the port of Wilmington, NC 13 miles from my house. I am home 2 nites durring the week, and every weekend. Pick up load in port, deliver, and pick up load and come back, spend nite at house. Next morning take load to port, and start all over again.grannylane, Jarhed1964 and Alanp613 Thank this.
