Well today I whent to calgary to pick up a over size load I picked it up an was heading to south dakota just past Regina sk my engine final blew its a c15 cat 550 hp put 1,789,098 millon km on it never had a problem till now I bought the truck new I am very happy with the way the engine was over the years but she finaluy blew well I am going to rebuild it but after that probably buy a new truck

Reman it and keep going. Much better that an EGR with DPF, and don't forget the DEF on the latest, greatest, ones.
You'll lose more money in the shop with a new truck than a total rebuild from end to end on the old one.bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
Stranger is right. Should be 6NZ. Get it rebuilt right. Maybe get Mr Haney to tweak it.
