So far soo good!!!

8/12/11 Stepped on the plane yes a plane not a bus. Paid for by my new company. All went very well to north Dakota. Was suposed to have a vehicle waiting for me but there wasn't one. So I called a cab went to the hotel. Super 8 nice room nothing great but clean. walked over to the perkins to eat used the P.O. I was given with no trouble. Sunday get a call safty guy was very sorry about forgeting to take the car to the airport. He brought it to me. So I could learn the town. Monday I was at the yard at 8;30 spent the day in oreantion. was handed over to each superviser by the prevouse person. I was given a list for everyones cell number and home phone and was told if needed help with anything I start at the top of the list and go till some one answered. even the owner. Tuesday, I get to the yard I'm taken thru the shop and introdused to my ride. An older volvo with a 475 isx and a 10spd. My trlr is loaded waiting for me to go to Canada. I was worried that I would end up sitting like i did with the last copmany once I was unloaded in Canada. Didnot happen by the time I was unloaded I had my back load to the U.S. unloaded friday afternoon was told to put it in the wind to the yard 160 mile deadheAD. no worries I get paied for all miles dispatched. get to the yard my loaded trailer is waiting on me. So I can go home to get my stuff for the truck. unloaded was told to go home and call when I was ready to go trucking again.So far this is a very top notch company. I have run with several drivers. most of them have been here at least 10yrs and one guy has been here 41yrs. We have a bunk house showers washer and drier for drivers use. I was told very sternly that I am to be comfortable if that means idle then idle. but please don't idle if i don't have too. Had a problem with the truck ......or thought i did. I was given to the shop forman and he spent about 30 minute with me on the phone walking me thru the computer of the truck apolizing that he didn't show me this or that before I left. I am treaTED WITH RESPECT AND COURTISY FROM EVERYONE
