Follow me through Central Refrigerated training

I know my hubby wanted to stay at the terminal as there was more to do and he was closer to shopping but they wouldn't let him as I believe they had too many students coming in or something like that? (but then again he wouldn't have gotten to know his roommate I do believe he moved back after his first trainer ended up in the emergency room and had to wait to be shipped to Georgia for a trainer.

 

Central is workign with Freightliner again. The current influx of new trucks are either Pete's or freighthsaking cascadias. I'm in a prostar Limited so I don't have to deal with either and its a good thing I don't like either.

Your stay at the Ramada is mandatory. As for reimbursing once seated they don't have pre-bought seats with airlines and if you flunk out it saves them the cost in total. With up to a 2/3rds flunk out rate its not a bad decision by them.

 

I have one question abt Central...I am looking for a company with driver training and I called them....The person that I talked to asked me one question...."What state are you from?"...I responded with Illinois..He promptly said we do not hire from Illinois..then "click" he was gone. Can someone answer why not Illinois?
It sound like to me by reading about Central that it might not be a bad thing that they do not....Well I will look elsewhere.

Funny how the recruiters say that you will only need food money for the training period, then you find out you may also need money to pay for your place to sleep.

THought since going to the hotel was mandatory thought they would cover that cost instead of you having to cover it. Anyone able to clear this up as far as who pays for the room. Heard something about you staying with a few others go the room unless you pay extra for a private room.
